Air Tahiti takes delivery of ATR 72-600 with all-business cabin

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of an ATR 72-600 fitted with ATR’s HighLine All-Business-Class cabin, becoming only the second airline to operate the configuration. Based in French Polynesia, the aircraft will launch the carrier’s Air Tahiti Signature premium service in December 2026, connecting Tahiti with destinations including Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa on scheduled and charter flights.

The aircraft has 26 individual seats in a 1-by-1 layout, giving every passenger direct access to the aisle. It has no economy-class cabin and is configured for a premium regional travel product aimed at inter-island services in French Polynesia.

Air Tahiti selected the interior for one of four ATR 72-600s acquired under its fleet-renewal programme. The HighLine configuration was unveiled at the 2025 Paris Air Show. Berjaya Air became the first operator of an ATR aircraft with the all-business layout earlier in 2026.

The ATR 72-600 is scheduled to enter commercial service in December under the Air Tahiti Signature brand. Air Tahiti plans to deploy it on regular routes as well as charter missions, serving the high-end tourism market around Tahiti, Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa.
