Air India unveils Forest Essentials amenity kits and loungewear

Air India has unveiled new amenity kits and loungewear for international flights, developed with Indian luxury-ayurveda brand Forest Essentials. Rolling out from October 2026 on services longer than eight hours and overnight flights exceeding six hours, the collection spans First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy, combining cabin-specific products with Indian art, wellness and textile design.

First Class kits form part of the Art of Flight collection, featuring Gond artwork commissioned from artist Dwarka Paraste. Designs and colour themes are expected to change every six months. Business Class kits belong to the Navratna Collection, inspired by the nine gems of Indian tradition, with coral versions for flights departing India and ruby versions for flights arriving in the country.

Both premium-cabin kits include Forest Essentials skincare and fragrance products, alongside socks, eye masks, earplugs and dental kits. They also contain a handcrafted wooden Ayurvedic Marma massager, which Air India describes as a first inclusion of its kind in an airline amenity kit.

Premium Economy passengers receive a reusable Air India bag containing The Indian Apothecary hand cream and lip balm, socks, an eye mask and a story card. First and Business Class loungewear draws on Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu shawl-weaving tradition, with geometric motifs, a gender-neutral Henley-style design and four sizes, including XXL. The set comes with a carry bag and story card; carpet slippers have also changed from grey to beige. The move replaces Air India’s previous Tumi amenity-kit partnership with Forest Essentials.
