Aeroméxico has taken delivery of its 25th Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a 787-9 leased from AerCap, in a move that expands the carrier’s long-haul fleet. The handover also gave AerCap its 10th 787 delivered to Aeroméxico and its 100th Boeing 787 delivery from its direct orderbook.
The aircraft supports Aeroméxico’s wider widebody strategy as it continues to build international capacity. AerCap framed the event as a dual milestone for both companies, while Boeing remains central to the 787 programme’s continued role in airline fleet renewal and network growth. The delivery underlines the persistent demand for leased Dreamliners in long-haul fleet planning, particularly for airlines seeking flexible capacity additions without direct ownership.
