Air France and Air Côte d’Ivoire agree Paris–Abidjan codeshare

Air France and Air Côte d’Ivoire have agreed a reciprocal codeshare on the Paris-Charles de Gaulle–Abidjan-Félix Houphouët-Boigny route, adding commercial flexibility without initially increasing operating frequencies. Announced on 19 October during an Association of Francophone Air Carriers meeting in Ajaccio, the partnership will take effect on 25 October, with each airline placing its code on the other’s flights.

The combined schedule will comprise 20 weekly services: 12 operated by Air France and eight by Air Côte d’Ivoire. The agreement will give customers access to a broader range of departure times while allowing Air Côte d’Ivoire to use Air France’s distribution and booking network on the important West African route.

The carriers intend to extend the cooperation to additional destinations in the Air France network by the end of the first half of 2027. They are also preparing reciprocal benefits between Air France’s Flying Blue and Air Côte d’Ivoire’s sMiles programmes, initially enabling members to earn miles on eligible Paris–Abidjan flights from the end of 2026.
