Dassault Aviation will introduce Honeywell-based EASy IV avionics on the Falcon 2000 series, offering the upgraded flight deck on new Falcon 2000LXS aircraft and as a retrofit for eligible aircraft already equipped with earlier EASy systems. The announcement was made at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas and brings the Falcon 2000 into the common avionics architecture used by the newer Falcon 6X and Falcon 8X.
EASy IV provides faster processing, higher-resolution displays, 2D and 3D airport moving maps, enhanced Jeppesen chart functions and a next-generation flight-management system with required-navigation-performance approach capability. Combined with Dassault’s FalconEye combined-vision system, the upgrade is intended to improve situational awareness during low-visibility approaches.
The retrofit is limited to Falcon 2000 aircraft fitted with EASy avionics; earlier aircraft equipped with Collins systems are outside the announced scope. More than 700 Falcon 2000 aircraft have been produced, creating a substantial potential retrofit fleet. Dassault has not provided a certification or entry-into-service schedule. Aviation Week has reported that the forward-fit and retrofit programme is expected by approximately 2029, although that timing has not been given as an official date.
