British Airways will operate two Avios-only return services from London Heathrow to Palma de Mallorca and Heraklion in August 2027, reserving every seat on the flights for British Airways Club members. The services will operate on 14 August, with returns on 21 August, and bookings are due to open exclusively to Club members on 22 October 2026.
Return fares including checked baggage start at 28,000 Avios plus £5 in Euro Traveller for Palma and 33,500 Avios plus £5 for Heraklion. Club Europe fares are set at 49,000 Avios plus £40 for Palma and 60,000 Avios plus £40 for Heraklion.
Eligible British Airways American Express Companion Vouchers can be used on both services. A voucher allows a second passenger to travel without an additional Avios charge, while solo travellers can use one to reduce the Avios requirement by 50%, with taxes and fees still payable.
The flights extend British Airways’ Avios-only model, introduced in 2023 to dedicate entire services to reward bookings during peak-demand periods. Unlike standard services, where only a limited number of seats are made available as reward flights, the designated flights are intended to make every seat bookable with Avios.
