SalamAir signs distribution agreement with Amadeus

Oman’s low-cost carrier SalamAir has signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus to make its fares and services available through the Amadeus Travel Platform. The arrangement will give connected travel agencies and other distribution partners access to SalamAir’s products, supporting the airline’s international expansion and broadening its reach across global markets.

The partnership is intended to diversify SalamAir’s sales channels and help the carrier reach additional customer segments beyond its existing distribution network. It will also improve the airline’s visibility among travel sellers connected to Amadeus, providing access to its expanding range of destinations and services.

SalamAir Chief Commercial Officer Steven Allen described the agreement as supporting the carrier’s growth plans and strengthening its presence in international markets. The arrangement concerns distribution and market access; no new routes, aircraft, capacity changes, implementation date or financial terms were disclosed.
