Fly2Galicia opens ticket sales for twice-weekly Munich service

Fly2Galicia has opened ticket sales for its planned launch network from Santiago de Compostela, including a twice-weekly service to Munich operated with Airbus A320 aircraft supplied by Romanian carrier Flyyo. The new Spanish airline is scheduled to begin flying in December 2026, with the Santiago–Munich route planned to start on 3 December and operate on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Munich service will link Santiago de Compostela Airport with Munich Airport as part of Fly2Galicia’s initial eight-destination programme. The network also includes Alicante, Granada and Zaragoza in Spain, together with Brussels, Venice, Prague and Milan. The airline plans 17 weekly departures in total, with most international routes operating twice a week and Alicante receiving three weekly frequencies.

Flyyo is expected to provide the aircraft and associated wet-lease services, including crews, maintenance and insurance, while Fly2Galicia handles commercial marketing. The airline does not initially plan to operate with its own aircraft or air operator certificate. Spanish aviation media report that the required regulatory approvals have been obtained, although the final operating arrangements remain subject to confirmation.

The launch programme is intended to establish Santiago as Fly2Galicia’s operating base and extend its winter connectivity to European markets. Published schedules and ticket sales provide details of the planned routes, but final aircraft allocation, fares and operating authorization have not been independently verified.
