Jeppesen ForeFlight is introducing new AI-powered Airflow agents and expanded platform capabilities for business-aircraft operators at NBAA-BACE. Integrated into ForeFlight Dispatch, the Trip Feasibility and Ops Briefing agents are designed to streamline pre-flight compliance checks and operational preparation while bringing safety, tracking, cockpit, performance, fuel and privacy functions into a more consolidated workflow.
Trip Feasibility assesses proposed missions for potential sanctions, permit, NOTAM, weather and airport-restriction issues. Ops Briefing combines NOTAMs with current and forecast weather to create a shared operational picture for flight departments.
The wider ForeFlight updates include safety-management functions, flight tracking, paperless cockpit operations, runway-performance analysis, fuel-management tools and aircraft-privacy capabilities. Fuel features include release confirmations, comparisons between retail and contract pricing, home-base fuel-farm accounting, tankering scenarios covering up to 50 legs and uploads for files used to waive minimum-fuel fees.
The additions are intended to reduce the need for business-aircraft operators to combine products from multiple providers. Jeppesen ForeFlight is demonstrating the capabilities at its NBAA-BACE exhibit, although the available information does not establish general-availability dates, pricing or subscription-tier access for every feature.
