TUI Airways will add eight routes from London Gatwick in its summer 2027 programme, expanding the airport network to 59 destinations. The new services will connect the UK airport with Athens, Djerba, Mytilene, Palermo, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Tangier and Valencia. Flights are scheduled to begin between 28 March and 3 May 2027, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with some Djerba services also planned for Boeing 737-800s.
Most of the routes are due to launch between 28 and 31 March, while the Djerba service is scheduled to start on 3 May. Reported frequencies include four flights a week to Athens, three each to Palermo and Tangier, and two each to Djerba and Mytilene. Frequencies for the Spanish routes have not been published in the available schedule details.
Djerba is a resumed route for TUI Airways at Gatwick; the airline last served the Tunisian destination from the airport until October 2015. Gatwick is the largest growth base in TUI’s wider summer programme, which covers 25 new routes across its European network. The airline plans to offer approximately 17 million seats on 84,000 flights during summer 2027, representing a 4.6% capacity increase over the previous year.
