AERO Friedrichshafen will give helicopters a larger presence at its 2027 trade show in Friedrichshafen, Germany, expanding rotorcraft coverage across executive and general aviation. The 14–17 April event will feature corporate-transport and training helicopters, alongside ultralight helicopters and gyrocopters, broadening the show’s offering beyond its previous specialist display.
The revised concept will bring helicopters closer to business aviation and flight schools in Hall A2. Ultralight helicopters will be presented with ultralight and light-sport aircraft manufacturers in the B halls, placing rotorcraft across a wider section of the exhibition grounds.
The expansion is intended to accommodate the breadth of the helicopter market, from executive transport and training aircraft to lighter rotorcraft. It will also give manufacturers, operators, suppliers and prospective customers attending primarily for fixed-wing general aviation and business aircraft greater access to helicopter products and services.
AERO Friedrichshafen is positioning the change within a broader development of its general-aviation exhibition, which covers aircraft ranging from drones, gliders and microlights to gyrocopters, helicopters, touring aircraft and business jets.
