CBAA, AvPosts partner on Canadian business aviation careers

The Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) has partnered with AvPosts to improve access to aviation careers and strengthen the talent pipeline across Canada’s business aviation sector. Under the agreement, CBAA will serve as AvPosts’ exclusive agent for its members and the wider community, with the platform available through a job board on the association’s website. Employers can post vacancies and create company profiles free of charge, while candidates can use the service at no cost.

The service lists opportunities in English and French, organised by broad job categories and specific roles. It is intended to provide a central recruitment channel for operators and other business aviation employers, rather than represent a change to employment regulations or announce individual vacancies.

CBAA president and chief executive Harlan Simpkins identified recruitment and retention as areas where members wanted additional support. AvPosts was developed by VOL, whose founder Shaan Bhanji described the platform as a way to make business aviation careers easier to find and help employers reach qualified aviation professionals.

The announcement does not disclose the number of participating employers or vacancies initially available, and provides no timetable for measuring recruitment results.
