United Airlines and DISH have added TBS to the live-TV lineup on selected United aircraft fitted with Starlink-enabled seatback screens, giving passengers access to nearly every MLB postseason game, including the American League Championship Series, National League Championship Series and World Series. The service covers more than 200 aircraft operating about 900 flights per day.
DISH’s existing onboard offering includes ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, FS1, ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. Passengers have watched more than 170,000 hours of live television since the service launched in September, according to United.
Starlink connectivity is free to MileagePlus members in all cabin classes. More than 5.4 million United passengers had access to Starlink during September, representing approximately one-third of the airline’s customers. United expects to complete Starlink installations across its fleet in 2027, although the companies did not provide further details on the aircraft types, routes or rollout schedule for TBS.
