Duncan Aviation adds Global nose landing gear to rental inventory

Duncan Aviation has added a Bombardier Global nose landing gear to its rental inventory, giving operators a temporary replacement option for affected Global 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, Express and XRS aircraft. The part, numbered 22175-109, is intended to cut aircraft-on-ground time when a customer’s own gear must be removed for inspection or repair.

The rental unit is aimed at common landing-gear-related events including over-tow, hard landing and excessive steering play, as well as other maintenance issues requiring nose landing gear removal. Duncan Aviation’s Airframe Rapid Response Team supports removal of the existing gear and installation of the rental unit, allowing the aircraft to return to service more quickly while the removed gear is torn down and inspected.

The move expands Duncan Aviation’s support for Bombardier Global operators at a time when landing-gear issues can trigger costly downtime. By offering a rental nose landing gear alongside its repair capability, the company adds another option for keeping long-range business jets available during unscheduled maintenance.
