Ryanair will end all flights from Bremen Airport from the summer 2027 schedule, removing one of the airport’s key low-cost carriers and ending service on routes including Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga, Zadar and London Stansted. The airline has informed Bremen authorities in writing that no Ryanair services will operate from April 2027, with booking availability already disappearing from its system for dates beyond late March.
The withdrawal would strip Bremen of a sizeable share of its leisure network and affect about 400,000 passengers a year. It comes as the airport negotiates with Ryanair over costs and operating conditions, while Lufthansa’s planned return on the Bremen-Frankfurt route has added to the reshaping of the airport’s schedule. Ryanair has flown from Bremen for nearly two decades and still serves five routes there, including London Stansted, Alicante, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Zadar. The winter link to Lamezia Terme is also expected to disappear under the current plan.
