Jet card rates fall in Q3 as turboprops lead declines

Private jet card rates fell in the third quarter of 2026, with Private Jet Card Comparisons putting the North American average at $10,958 per hour. That was down 3.1% from the second quarter and 2.7% below the same period a year earlier, leaving the market at its lowest level since the fourth quarter of 2023.

The pricing analysis covered jet cards, memberships and related programmes with guaranteed availability, tracking hourly rates across cabin categories and comparing them with prior-quarter, year-ago and pre-pandemic benchmarks. Turboprops recorded the sharpest drop, while the overall market also eased when turboprops were excluded, with the average then rising to $11,422 per hour.

Category trends were mixed beneath the headline decline. Very light jets averaged $7,341 per hour, light jets $8,333, midsize jets $9,607 and super midsize jets $12,485. Large cabin jets fell to $14,791 per hour, while ultra long-haul jets edged higher to $19,433. The figures point to continued softening in private aviation membership pricing as operators and buyers adjust to a market that remains above pre-COVID levels in most segments.
