TEDAE’s Spanish defence, security, aeronautics and space industries closed 2025 with consolidated revenue of €18.034 billion, up 11.6% from €16.153 billion a year earlier. The annual report, prepared by PwC and presented in Spain on Monday, puts the sector at its highest level on record.
Aeronautics remained the largest segment at €12.080 billion, rising 6.2% year on year, while defence and security posted the strongest growth at €10.877 billion, up 16.2%. The space business reached €1.416 billion, an increase of 9.5%.
The figures point to broad momentum across Spain’s industrial base, with the sector also contributing €24.425 billion to GDP in 2025 and supporting 289,938 jobs. The report breaks aeronautics into €5.915 billion in civil activity and €6.164 billion in defence-related work, while the defence and security total includes terrestrial, naval, security and space-defence activities.
The latest results extend a multi-year rise in turnover, up from €14.101 billion in 2019. They also underline the scale of the sector’s industrial footprint at a time when defence spending across Europe is rising and aerospace production remains a key pillar of Spain’s high-value manufacturing economy.
