Jeppesen launches initial AI agents for ForeFlight Airflow operations system

Jeppesen ForeFlight has launched the first AI agents for its Airflow aviation operating intelligence platform, unveiling the rollout in Paris at its Commercial Aviation User Conference. The initial release includes agents for Trip Trading, Target Mastery and Augmented Ops Control, with 150 AI agents now activated for commercial aviation customers.

The company is positioning Airflow as an agentic AI layer for airline operations, with early adopters already using the system and more agents due for business aviation and military customers in the coming months. Operators can set the level of automation they want, combine Jeppesen ForeFlight agents with third-party tools or their own builds, and keep humans in control of decisions.

Airflow runs on certified aviation data and is designed to provide visible reasoning behind recommendations, a feature aimed at schedule recovery and disruption management as well as routine crew coordination. Jeppesen ForeFlight introduced Airflow in July as part of its wider AI strategy and has been testing agent deployment internally since January.
