Enaire managed 2,218 drone operations in Spain between June and August, with June the busiest month at 809 movements. July and August each remained above 700 operations, underlining steady summer demand for drone activity across the country.
Catalonia led the regional tally with 516 operations, followed by Madrid with 451 and the Basque Country with 255. Together, those three regions accounted for nearly 55% of the summer total. Galicia also showed growth, rising from 29 operations in June to 44 in August.
Activity was also notable in the Valencian Community, which recorded 111 operations over the period, and Castilla y León, with 90. The distribution points to concentrated demand in a small number of autonomous communities, while also showing broader use of drones for tasks such as infrastructure inspection, aerial recording and environmental monitoring.
