Air France refreshes long-haul menus with six French chefs

Air France has refreshed its long-haul onboard menus departing Paris, bringing in six French chefs and pâtissiers to create new dishes across La Première, Business and Premium cabins. The menu update focuses on premium-service differentiation and extends the carrier’s French-cuisine positioning on long-haul flights.

In La Première, Arnaud Lallement is responsible for more than 30 dishes, with desserts created by Claire Heitzler. Business class features more than 20 dishes by Mathieu Viannay, while François Adamski has designed breakfast and brunch. Nina Métayer is handling desserts, and Frédéric Simonin has created the Premium cabin menu, which offers two hot dishes including a vegetarian option.

The rollout adds another layer to Air France’s long-haul product strategy, where cuisine forms part of the airline’s wider premium-cabin offer on routes from Paris. The update appears to centre on culinary branding rather than any change to routes or aircraft, with the carrier continuing to use celebrity-chef partnerships to support fare differentiation in a competitive international market.
