ExecuJet Auckland FBO wins New Zealand first IS-BAH Stage I accreditation

ExecuJet’s fixed-base operator at Auckland Airport has become the first FBO in New Zealand to achieve IS-BAH Stage I accreditation after a successful audit in July 2026. The result gives the Luxaviation Group business-aviation operation a national first in a recognised safety and handling standard for ground services.

IS-BAH, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling, is designed to assess and improve safety management, risk controls and operational best practices at FBOs and handling providers. For Auckland, the accreditation formalises an established safety framework at one of New Zealand’s main business-aviation gateways.

The award also puts the Auckland facility on a broader progression path within the programme. ExecuJet has indicated that Stage I is the first step towards a longer-term goal of reaching Stage III at the site, while its Australian operations in Sydney and Melbourne already hold the highest IS-BAH rating. The accreditation strengthens ExecuJet’s position in the regional business-aviation market, where recognised handling standards are increasingly used by operators and passengers as a benchmark for service consistency and safety oversight.
