Atlantic Aviation Starts Work on Second Nashville FBO

Atlantic Aviation has begun construction on a new fixed-base operation at John C. Tune Airport in Nashville, adding a second presence in the city and expanding business-aviation capacity at the reliever airport west of downtown. The project includes a 7,500-square-foot executive terminal, a 37,000-square-foot hangar and office complex, roughly 175,000 square feet of ramp space, and new fuel and de-icing infrastructure.

The development follows a competitive lease award from the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, giving Atlantic its first facility at JWN. Completion is planned for late 2027, with the new base designed to serve executive and general aviation users in a market that has continued to attract infrastructure investment.

The site will support Jet-A and 100LL fuel services alongside a dedicated de-icing pad, extending Atlantic’s operational footprint in Middle Tennessee. Aviation Week also reported the start of construction and the planned facility layout, matching the airport’s account of the project.
