American Airlines will broaden its complimentary Main Cabin snack selection on select flights in early October, adding more sweet and savoury choices for economy passengers. The refresh includes Biscoff cookies on morning services and, later in the day, Goldfish crackers, Tate’s Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and Peterson’s savoury-sweet snack mix.
The updated offering is part of a wider inflight experience refresh aimed at giving Main Cabin customers more variety without introducing a paid snack programme. American already provides complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks on many flights, and the new lineup will rotate over time. The airline has indicated that additional options could follow in 2027.
The rollout begins on a limited basis first, with the new snacks appearing on select flights rather than across the entire network. Exact routes and the pace of expansion were not disclosed.
