The announcement, made in Irvine, California, covers Astrova screens from 13 inches to 42 inches and gives the Panasonic product line a new standards-based credential in the premium cabin display market.
Eyesafe Display Requirements 3.0 is a third-party verification framework focused on blue-light management and display performance rather than regulatory approval. Panasonic positions Astrova for airlines seeking cabin entertainment systems that balance visual comfort with OLED image quality, including colour, contrast and clarity. The certification adds another external validation point for a product family already aimed at next-generation widebody and narrowbody cabin installations.
