Delta Air Lines will resume daily nonstop service between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv on 6 September, using an Airbus A330-900neo after suspending Israel flights at the end of February. The first eastbound flight will leave New York on 6 September and arrive in Israel the following morning, while the return service departs Tel Aviv on 7 September and reaches New York later that day.
The restart follows a review of the security situation in the region and restores a key transatlantic route that has been off the airline’s schedule for months. Delta becomes the second major US carrier to restore direct Israel service after conflict-related disruptions began in 2023. The route will operate daily, with the A330-900neo providing Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort and Main cabin products on the long-haul sector.
Delta’s Atlanta-Tel Aviv service remains suspended until later in the year, leaving New York as the first restored Israel link in the airline’s network. The return of JFK service comes as carriers continue to reassess capacity to Tel Aviv amid improved operating conditions and demand for nonstop US-Israel travel.
