AerFin is expanding its Boeing 777 material stock at its Miami hub to support operators across North and Latin America. The move gives the company a larger local pool of widebody components, with the aim of shortening lead times, improving aircraft availability and helping airlines control maintenance costs.
The Miami inventory build-up centres on parts for the 777 fleet, a platform that remains important to long-haul operators in the region. AerFin has bought 179 whole assets since 2021, including 64 airframes and 115 engines, and has targeted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft as part of its widebody material strategy.
Jacqueline Fernandez, senior vice-president for the Americas, described the region as a key market for widebody operations and linked the stronger Miami inventory to faster responses to customer requirements. The development points to continued demand for used 777 components and for aftermarket support delivered closer to airline bases and maintenance schedules in the Americas.
