Delta Air Lines will restart daily nonstop service between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv on 6 September, using an Airbus A330-900neo on the route. The first eastbound flight is due to reach Israel the following day, with the return service leaving Tel Aviv on 7 September.
The route restoration follows a thorough review of the evolving security environment in the region and brings back one of the most important direct links between the US and Israel. The service will again connect Delta’s New York hub with Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, adding capacity for business, leisure and diaspora traffic.
Delta has repeatedly adjusted its Tel Aviv schedule in response to regional conditions, and the latest restart comes after a prolonged suspension period. The carrier’s decision also reflects renewed confidence in operating the route with its long-haul A330-900neo, which will provide the daily nonstop service.
