Delta Air Lines will resume daily nonstop service between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv on 6 September, using the Airbus A330-900neo. The first westbound return from Tel Aviv is scheduled for 7 September, restoring a major US-Israel link after a suspension that began in 2023.
The route restart follows a review of the security environment and continued coordination with aviation authorities and government agencies. Delta is bringing back one of its highest-profile long-haul services to Israel as travel between the two markets begins to recover.
The operation will again connect JFK with Ben Gurion Airport on a daily basis, giving Delta a second major US carrier position on the route after the prolonged disruption linked to the Hamas-Israel conflict. The A330-900neo deployment also places the flight among Delta’s flagship transatlantic services, with the widebody scheduled to cover both directions of the route.
