Sikorsky picks ČLS as first EU Black Hawk parts distribution centre

Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has selected Česká letecká servisní (ČLS) as its first authorised distribution centre in the European Union for BLACK HAWK helicopter parts. The Prague-based agreement is designed to improve access to recommended components for the expanding European Black Hawk fleet, supporting S-70, UH-60M and UH-60A/L operators across the bloc.

ČLS will stock Sikorsky-recommended parts in its warehouse and distribute them within the EU, where more than 150 Black Hawks are in service. The arrangement is intended to reduce logistics friction for high-demand items and improve readiness for mission-critical operations. It also extends Sikorsky’s regional sustainment network, which already spans South America, the Middle East and Asia.

The deal also links into broader Black Hawk activity in the Czech Republic, where Sikorsky and ČLS are working on the Firehawk programme. For European operators and maintenance networks, the new distribution hub provides a local source of parts support at a time when fleet utilisation remains high.
