Steiner Aviation International has broadened its airframe maintenance and inspection approvals at Akron-Canton Regional Airport in Ohio, extending support to Embraer ERJ 135/145 aircraft, several Cessna Citation variants, all Beechcraft King Air models and Dassault Falcon aircraft. The expansion also brings in five extra technicians, including three airframe and powerplant specialists and two avionics technicians, as the business maintenance provider targets a more responsive alternative to larger MRO facilities.
The move comes as Steiner works to serve a growing customer base from its base at CAK. The company has more than 25 years of aircraft maintenance and avionics experience, and the added staffing increases its airframe and avionics support capacity. The wider authorisations should allow more inspection and repair work to be handled on site for business and regional operators, reducing the need to send aircraft elsewhere for scheduled maintenance.
