EuroAtlantic Airways has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-300, expanding the Portuguese carrier’s long-haul fleet with a second Airbus widebody type. The aircraft, registered CS-TGI, was built in 2011 and is configured for 290 passengers in a three-class layout.
The cabin includes 27 business-class seats, 16 premium-economy seats and 247 economy seats, with individual entertainment screens throughout. EuroAtlantic’s long-haul operation had previously centred on Boeing 767 and 777 aircraft, alongside one Airbus A330-200. The new aircraft broadens the airline’s widebody portfolio as it continues to shape its long-haul fleet for wet-lease and charter work.
