German Airways to fly Condor winter routes to Zurich with Embraer E190s

German Airways will continue operating wet-lease flights for Condor in the 2026/27 winter schedule, with Embraer E190 aircraft assigned to four main European routes. Zurich is being added for the winter season, while Venice drops out of the pattern. The programme centres on Condor’s Frankfurt hub and extends the carrier’s use of German Airways to support short-haul European capacity through the colder months.

Condor already serves Frankfurt-Zurich three times a day, and Helvetic Airways also operates on the route for the leisure airline. The winter rotation gives Condor additional flexibility on selected city pairs as demand shifts between summer and winter schedules. AeroRoutes separately listed Frankfurt-Zurich as a once-daily service with German Airways E190 aircraft, matching the broader winter network pattern. Venice, by contrast, is not included in the winter deployment.
