Adelaide Airport will deploy Amadeus’ seamless travel technology to streamline passenger processing and cut queues across its terminal. The deal covers more than 50 Seamless Bag Drop S7 Air and S7 Air Hybrid units and about 80 Seamless Kiosks, alongside cloud-based passenger-processing systems and new messaging tools for baggage operations.
The upgrade will move airport passenger-processing functions onto Amadeus ACUS, enabling airlines to use any check-in or boarding position and access systems remotely. That setup is designed to improve flexibility for new route launches, support roaming agents and reduce dependence on fixed network connections. Adelaide Airport, Australia’s fifth-busiest airport, will also adopt Amadeus Smart Message to replace teletype-based communication between airlines and baggage infrastructure, improving synchronization across operations.
