Aeroméxico plans Mexico City–Milan nonstop service for 2027

Aeroméxico plans to launch a nonstop Mexico City–Milan route in March 2027, using Boeing 787 Dreamliners, subject to government approval. The service would link Mexico City International Airport with Milan Malpensa and become the carrier’s second destination in Italy after Rome.

The new route forms part of Aeroméxico’s broader European expansion and would lift its Europe network to 10 routes across seven destinations if approved. The airline is also adding another long-haul option at a time when transatlantic demand remains a focus for full-service carriers. Frequencies and final timings have not yet been disclosed, and the route remains provisional until regulatory clearance is secured.
