TAP Air Portugal will launch a direct Porto–Sal service on 25 October 2026, expanding its Atlantic network from northern Portugal with twice-weekly flights operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft. The Cape Verde route will run on Thursdays and Sundays from Porto, with return services from Sal on Fridays and Mondays.
The new connection will make Sal TAP’s seventh direct intercontinental destination from Porto, alongside Praia, Luanda, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, New York and Boston. It also adds a second Cape Verde link to the airline’s Porto operation, strengthening leisure access to the archipelago and broadening long-haul options from the city.
TAP is accompanying the launch with a fare campaign running from 18 August to 1 September, with return tickets to Sal starting at 209 euros. Departures from Porto are scheduled for 20:50, while flights from Sal are timed for 01:20.
