Star Air will begin direct flights between Ahmedabad and Mundra in Gujarat on 17 August, opening a new link between the state’s commercial capital and its port and logistics hub. The route will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with morning departures from Ahmedabad and evening returns from Mundra.
The schedule is designed for business and day-trip traffic, giving travellers a same-day option in both directions. One published timetable lists flight S5 628 as departing Ahmedabad at 06:40 and arriving in Mundra at 07:30, while S5 629 leaves Mundra at 18:40 and reaches Ahmedabad at 19:30.
The new service adds another regional connection in Gujarat as Star Air continues to expand its network from Mundra. Available details do not include aircraft type or fares, but the timings and frequency point to a short-haul service aimed at corporate travellers, traders and passengers moving between the two centres.
