CENTCOM launches Falcon Strike multinational attack-drone task force

U.S. Central Command has created Task Force Falcon Strike, a first-ever multi-domain multinational attack-drone unit designed to operate above, on and below the sea. The effort, unveiled in Tampa, Florida, will use one-way attack drones and other unmanned systems, with personnel from the United States and regional partners as CENTCOM seeks to build a unified deterrent across the Middle East.

Personnel from U.S. Special Operations Command Central are leading the initiative after previously establishing Task Force Scorpion Strike. CENTCOM has begun consulting with regional partners and inviting them to join the effort, with the task force set to expand as participation is formalised.

The announcement describes Falcon Strike as an attempt to scale attack-drone capabilities across the region into a shared multinational framework. It does not indicate that the unit is already fully operational or identify any partner nations that have formally joined.
