RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska has completed a production expansion at its Świebodzin facility, raising annual output from 60,000 to 100,000 seats while marking 20 years of manufacturing operations. The +40,000-seat increase, finalized in July 2026 under the Space2Grow initiative, reinforces Poland as a critical hub for economy-class seating, including R2 seats for LOT Polish Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX 8 and A220 fleets. Since 2006, the site has delivered over 615,700 seats, supporting RECARO’s €2.16bn order book and post-pandemic demand ramp-up. The expansion accommodates higher operational output as the sector surpasses pre-pandemic traffic levels, with new production and office buildings added to the site in 2026.
