Jewers Doors finalized the installation of two Esavian 126-SBR power-operated hangar door sets at British Airways’ Fleet Support Unit at Heathrow on 29 June 2026. Each set comprises ten equal leaves, installed on the north and south sides of the hangar to support A380 and B747 maintenance operations. The upgrade replaces legacy infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted weather protection for aircraft servicing. Esavian doors dominate global hangar installations for large aircraft, with Jewers Doors delivering class-leading systems for the world’s largest hangars.
