Signia Aerospace to acquire Heads Up Technologies

Signia Aerospace has agreed to acquire Heads Up Technologies, a Texas-based supplier of cabin systems and electronics for business and commercial aircraft. The definitive agreement would bring Heads Up’s cabin management, lighting, audio and video distribution, displays and passenger interfaces into Signia’s portfolio. The companies have not disclosed a purchase price, other transaction terms or an expected closing date, and the acquisition has not been reported as completed.

Headquartered in Addison, Texas, Heads Up supplies products to aerospace manufacturers and aircraft operators. Its systems are integrated into cabin architectures, while its aftermarket business includes replacement components, upgrades and cabin modernisation. The acquisition would expand Signia’s offering in cabin electronics and passenger-facing equipment.

Signia is backed by Arcline Investment Management; Heads Up is owned by JLL Partners. Harris Williams is advising Signia on the transaction, while Lincoln International and Mesirow are advising Heads Up.
