Polaris Aviation Group begins scheduled passenger flights from Chișinău’s Eugen Doga International Airport on 5 November, with an inaugural service to Istanbul. The Moldovan start-up plans to add six destinations by 21 November: Bologna, Verona, Prague, Milan-Malpensa, Rome-Fiumicino and Dublin. The new network will initially be operated with a Moldova-registered Airbus A321; an Airbus A320 is expected to join the fleet later.
Bologna, Verona and Prague are scheduled to open on 18 November, followed by Milan on 19 November, Rome on 20 November and Dublin on 21 November. Each of the six routes is planned to operate three times weekly.
The Istanbul service is initially scheduled four to five times per week. Reports differ on when it will become daily: one gives 3 December, while another lists 8 December. The start date for daily operation remains unclear.
The seven destinations span Turkey, Italy, Czechia and Ireland. The launch establishes Polaris as a new scheduled-flight operator at Chișinău, with its initial service and route additions set to begin over a 17-day period.
