Emily Williams, co-founder and director of IW Aviation, will become chair of the Air Charter Association (ACA) on 1 January 2027, succeeding Kevin Ducksbury after his seven years in the role. Williams has served on the association’s board since 2021. She is set to oversee its existing initiatives, including support for early-career professionals, and the launch of a regional European air charter event in Friedrichshafen next April.
The ACA formally confirmed the appointment on 28 October, after first sharing it with members at the Air Charter Excellence Awards in London. During Ducksbury’s tenure, the association grew to 454 members in 64 countries and expanded its executive team.
Williams has identified the ACA’s internship programme and development of young air-charter professionals as priorities. She will also oversee the inaugural Air Charter Expo Regional – Europe, scheduled for 14–16 April 2027 at AERO Friedrichshafen. The association has not detailed a broader policy change or transition plan accompanying the appointment.
