FL Technics Indonesia has received EASA Part-145 approval for its maintenance facility at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, allowing the site to perform base and line maintenance on EU-registered Airbus A320-family and Boeing 737 aircraft. The company is preparing to begin work for its first EU-based operator in the week after the approval, with additional aircraft expected in November 2026.
The approval covers Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft, as well as Boeing 737 Classic, Next Generation and MAX variants. It followed technical and quality audits by EASA inspectors covering the facility’s hangar infrastructure, tooling systems and engineering workforce.
The Denpasar site spans approximately 17,000 square metres and can accommodate up to five narrow-body aircraft simultaneously. It comprises three hangars or maintenance areas and a 2,000-square-metre paint shop.
The facility had previously supported aircraft registered in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia. The EASA approval expands its addressable customer base to European operators and other carriers requiring maintenance performed under EASA standards, enabling eligible aircraft to undergo approved work in Indonesia rather than at facilities elsewhere.
