Air Corsica has selected StandardAero to provide performance restoration shop visit services for CFM International LEAP-1A engines powering its Airbus A320neo fleet. The agreement gives the French carrier access to StandardAero’s LEAP-1A support from its 810,000-square-foot facility in San Antonio, Texas, including quick-turn shop visits, component repairs, short-term engine leases and engine-health-monitoring data analysis.
The arrangement expands a relationship established in 2023, when StandardAero began supporting Air Corsica’s ATR regional turboprops, including its ATR 72-600 fleet. The new scope extends the partnership to the airline’s A320neo operations and provides access to a broader range of engine availability and maintenance services.
StandardAero is a CFM LEAP Premier MRO provider authorised to support LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. It signed a CFM Branded Service Agreement for the two variants in March 2023, began LEAP quick-turn shop visits in March 2024 and completed correlation of its first LEAP test cell in November 2024, enabling performance restoration shop visit inductions.
The agreement does not disclose its value, duration, covered engine quantity or the timing of the first shop visit.
