UK-based AS Aerospace has begun implementing Tracware’s Aerotrac Web Interface and Aerotrac Mobile Engineering software after completing a pilot in its Part 145 operation. The CAMO and maintenance provider, which supports helicopter operators, plans to bring the systems into service in November 2026, extending tablet-based engineering capability across its hangar and workshop activities.
Aerotrac Mobile will allow engineers to review assigned tasks, record working time, request parts and tooling, add unscheduled tasks and defects, complete maintenance work and record inspections from tablets. The associated web interface will give Part 145 administrative personnel real-time access to engineering records.
The pilot tested both applications within AS Aerospace’s Part 145 environment. Feedback from its personnel will be incorporated during the final implementation stages before the planned operational launch. The deployment will move task execution, defect reporting, time recording, inspection documentation and related engineering activity onto mobile devices while improving administrative visibility of live maintenance records.
The companies have not disclosed the number of users or sites covered by the implementation, its contract value or the precise November go-live date.
