Sun PhuQuoc Airways opens first India route for December launch

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has opened ticket sales for its first nonstop service to India, linking Phu Quoc with Ahmedabad from 2 December 2026. The route will operate five times a week with Airbus A321neo aircraft and a full-service offering. Introductory one-way fares start at VND2,619,000 from Phu Quoc and INR9,596 from Ahmedabad, including taxes and fees.

Flights are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight 9G315 will depart Phu Quoc International Airport at 19:35 and arrive at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 23:30 local time. The return service, 9G314, is scheduled to leave Ahmedabad at 01:00 and reach Phu Quoc at 07:15. The journey time is approximately five hours and 25 minutes.

The promotional fares apply to the first four flights in each direction. Bookings made through the airline’s website or mobile application during the promotional period qualify for a further 20% reduction on the base fare.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways plans to increase the service to daily flights from early February 2027 and add further Indian destinations during the first quarter. Ahmedabad is the Vietnamese carrier’s first Indian destination, providing direct access between western India and the Vietnamese resort island without an intermediate stop.

The reported launch date differs by one day between sources: Vietnamese reports specify 2 December, while an Indian report lists 3 December. The airline should confirm the operating date before publication.
