Icelandair adds St Louis and restores Madrid flights for summer 2027

Icelandair will launch seasonal service between Keflavík International Airport and St Louis, Missouri, next summer and restore flights to Madrid, expanding its transatlantic network ahead of the airline’s 90th anniversary. St Louis flights are scheduled from 14 May to 24 October 2027, operating three to four times weekly, while Madrid service will run from 9 April to 25 October, two to three times per week.

St Louis will become Icelandair’s newest North American destination, with departures planned on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The route will provide the Missouri city with a seasonal nonstop link to Iceland and onward connections through Keflavík to destinations across Icelandair’s European network.

The new service will also support an expanded partnership with Southwest Airlines. The arrangement is intended to provide connections via St Louis between destinations across North America, Iceland and Europe, including onward access for Icelandair passengers travelling from Iceland to points in the United States.

Madrid flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The return of the Spanish capital restores a destination previously served by Icelandair, while the St Louis route adds a new gateway in the US Midwest. Frequencies may vary during the published seasonal operating periods.
