DHL raises 2026 EBIT forecast above EUR 7 billion

DHL Group has raised its full-year 2026 reported EBIT forecast to more than EUR 7.0 billion from a previous target of more than EUR 6.5 billion, citing continued earnings momentum, particularly at DHL Express, and indications of a strong fourth-quarter peak season. The Bonn-based logistics group also lifted its outlook for the DHL divisions to more than EUR 6.4 billion in EBIT.

The forecast for Post & Parcel Germany remains above EUR 900 million, while Group Functions are still expected to record approximately EUR 400 million in negative EBIT. Free cash flow excluding net mergers and acquisitions is now expected to exceed EUR 3.2 billion, compared with the previous forecast of around EUR 3.0 billion.

DHL increased planned 2026 capital expenditure to approximately EUR 3.6 billion from a previous range of EUR 3.0 billion to EUR 3.3 billion, citing selected growth opportunities. Preliminary third-quarter figures showed revenue rising more than 12% year on year to around EUR 22.6 billion and group EBIT increasing approximately 16% to EUR 1.71 billion. DHL Express generated around EUR 1.035 billion in EBIT, up from EUR 692 million a year earlier.

The complete third-quarter report is scheduled for publication on 5 November. DHL plans to review its medium-term target of more than EUR 7 billion in EBIT under normalised macroeconomic conditions in March 2027.
