Qatar Airways launches twice-weekly Bogotá and Caracas service

Qatar Airways inaugurated twice-weekly flights between Doha, Bogotá and Caracas on 4 November, using a Boeing 777-200LR on a triangular route. Flight QR783 flies nonstop from Doha to Bogotá, continues to Caracas and returns nonstop to Doha. The service makes Qatar Airways the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and adds Bogotá and Caracas as its 16th and 17th destinations in the Americas.

Flights operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. The published schedule has departures from Doha at 07:35, arrival in Bogotá at 16:25, departure for Caracas at 17:55 and arrival at 21:00. The aircraft leaves Caracas at 23:30 and reaches Doha the following day. Times are local. The Doha–Bogotá sector takes almost 17 hours; the Caracas–Doha return is about 14 hours.

Qatar Airways has expanded its codeshare with LATAM Airlines Colombia, offering connections from Bogotá to 17 domestic destinations, including Medellín, Cali, Cartagena and San Andrés. Through Doha, the new service also connects passengers to the airline’s wider network. The inaugural flight departed Hamad International Airport for Bogotá before continuing to Caracas, establishing nonstop links from Doha to the Colombian capital and from the Venezuelan capital to Qatar.
