SkyWay secures FAA PMA for Citation CJ-series SkyFlush kits

SkyWay Group has received FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) for its SkyFlush lavatory modification kits for Cessna Citation CJ-series business jets. The manufacturing approval is separate from the supplemental type certificate (STC), which authorises installation on specified aircraft models. The Uvalde, Texas-based company’s modification replaces the existing flushing-toilet installation with a system serviced through an external fuselage panel, eliminating the need to move the waste tank through the cabin for emptying.

The service panel is installed aft of the wing on the left side of the aircraft and is designed to connect to standard aviation ground-service equipment. The system pumps waste overboard and includes a waste-drain fitting, a blue-water service connection and controls for the integrated macerator pump and water replenishment.

SkyWay received STC approval for the CJ3 and CJ3+ in 2025, then expanded the STC’s applicability in 2026 to include Citation 525 and 525A series aircraft. Those approvals cover installation; the newly reported PMA concerns manufacture of the SkyFlush kits. The available information does not specify the PMA’s exact scope, covered part numbers or effective date.
